Celebrate Gerrit Rietveld's Birthday on Rietveld day 2024!

On Sunday June 23 you are warmly invited to celebrate Gerrit Rietveld's birthday (June 24, 1888) during the annual Rietveld day. The house is in a festive mood, making it the perfect time for a visit. All visitors will be treated to a 'Stijl-ish' pastry from local bakery Blom.

Join our creative walk-in workshop in the garden from 2 to 4 PM, it’s suitable for all ages. Take a seat on the iconic Zigzag chairs and get inspired by Rietveld.

Looking for an adventure in Utrecht? Enjoy a downloadable city walk (free) and discover Rietveld's influence at various locations. The tour covers about 5 kilometres. Prefer digital? Follow Jessica van Geel from 2.30 PM on a digital city tour on our instagram account @rietveldschroderhuis.

To celebrate this special occasion, we're suprising 100 Utrecht residents with a free ticket to visit the Rietveld Schröder House later on in the year. Keep an eye on your mailbox; you might receive one of these tickets.
