The finale of the chess tournament will take place at the Rietveld Schröder House on Sunday 28 July from 1PM till 4PM.

Ukiyo Coffee organises a chess tournament every month, culminating on 28 July 2024 with a finale at the Rietveld Schröder House. Participants who qualify during the preliminary rounds will play their decisive matches in the rooms of this Utrecht icon. After registration, the playing rounds will be scheduled, and players will receive their start times.

Surrounded by the characteristic style of the house, with its clean lines and open spaces, players will focus on the chessboard during the final rounds until one winner remains.

The winner of the tournament will receive a prize package from Ukiyo Coffee and the Rietveld Schröder House.

The Rietveld Schröder House will remain open to visitors during the chess tournament. On this day, from 12:00 to 16:00, the house can be visited against reduced admission rates (50%).
